Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revit Designer with a strong background in wood frame construction to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural and structural models using Revit, focusing on residential and light commercial wood-framed buildings.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Revit models for wood-framed structures.
Create detailed construction documents including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
Coordinate models with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members throughout the design and construction documentation phases.
Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, company standards, and client requirements.
Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.
Update drawings and models as changes occur during design development or construction.

Requirements:

Proven experience using Autodesk Revit in professional settings.
3+ years of experience working on wood frame construction projects.
Strong understanding of residential/light commercial construction techniques and standards.
Proficient in creating families, schedules, and detailed 3D models in Revit.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Experience with building codes and standards related to wood construction (e.g., IRC, IBC, NDS).
Familiarity with other design tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, etc.).
Experience in prefab, modular, or panelized wood construction is a plus.
